Greater Nevada Credit Union Community Partners Fundraising Program

Program History

Through the Community Partners Fundraising Program, the Reno Aces and Greater Nevada team up with local nonprofits, schools, youth sports leagues, and religious centers to raise funds for their cause. Organizations sell Aces tickets and keep a portion of the proceeds. Greater Nevada Credit Union (GNCU) includes bonus donations when groups hit ticket milestones.

The GNCU Partners Fundraising Program has been a staple of the Reno Aces Baseball Club’s community efforts for the past six seasons. The program has benefited thousands throughout Northern Nevada over the years. With nearly 100 organizations participating in 2022, GNCU has been a driving force behind donation growth as over $83,000 was donated to charity throughout the 2022 season. Beneficiaries have included non-profit organizations, local schools, youth sports leagues, and religious centers.

Since the program’s inception in 2016, over $414,420 have been raised to help benefit local non-profit organizations. While it is certainly a great benefit to the community, the participating Community Partners Fundraisers also enjoy great perks. All participants of the program are invited to attend the annual GNCU Partners Fundraiser Luncheon. Additionally, top fundraisers are eligible to win exciting prizes including advertising your business/organization on the concourse during an Aces’ game, check presentation on field, ceremonial first pitch opportunities, autographed team memorabilia, and much more!

*NEWLY ADDED BENEFITS*

• Groups receive a $500 bonus when they sell 100 tickets through the program’s new match feature.
• Groups can earn an additional $2.50 for every ticket sold after the first hundred, up to an additional $500
• As a result, every fundraising group has an opportunity to earn up to a $1,000 bonus donation from GNCU in addition to the funds provided through ticket sales
• In 2022, GNCU donated an additional $22,135 to fundraisers through bonus donations
